Founder Dirk Collins, 32, grew up skiing and climbing in the
Chugach Mountains of Alaska. He attended high school in Anchorage and
completed two years at the University of Alaska, Anchorage before
moving to Jackson Hole in 1991.
Dirk is a
cinematographer, producer, and director. He is a published still
photographer, heli ski guide, commercial fisherman, and professional
skier. Dirk was the Director of Photography on the 1999 Antarctic Ski
and Snowboard Expedition, cinematographer for ESPN, and The Learning
Channel. He has received several awards for his work which has appeared
on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, RSN, and Eurosport.
Having
climbed a new route on the southwest face of Denali, Dirk is extremely
active in his free time. He currently lives in Victor, Idaho with his
wife Jenny, two-year old daughter, Savannah, and dog Eiger.
